About Me
Hey! You found me! My name's David Ellenberger, a senior Computer Science and Mathematics major at St Olaf College. An avid outdoorsman, I enjoy running, fishing, and watching my beloved MN sports teams break my heart on a regular basis. I am currently working as a Software Engineer at Toro in Minneapolis.
Academics
When I'm not outdoors, I study Mathematics and St Olaf College in Northfield MN with an emphasis on applied mathematics. Currently heading a CS research project to modernize the school theater via smartphone integration. Enjoy studying combinatorics and set theory, as well as algorithmic design.
Employment
2017 :: Proto Labs, Inc
Software Quality Engineer Intern at Proto Labs, a rapid prototyping and injection molding service based out of Maple Plain MN. Worked with key team behind the injection molding systems, writing automated API tests simultaneous with the API development. Refactored aging front end end to end regressions library, as well as created a new web-app to accelerate future SQE testing. Gained proficiency in Python based automation including Selenium web drivers and Robot Framework, as well as relational database management.
2015 :: Land O'Lakes, Inc
Information Services Intern at Land O'Lakes, a midwest dairy Co-Op. Learned the ins and out of Business Analytics, and worked withing the Advanced Analytics team to develop tools to aggregate sales data. Created tools to measure the realtionship between weather patterns and specific crop sales, as well as gained experience working within the Agile process.
2012 - 2015 :: Gear Running Store
Assistant Manager at Gear Running Store, a single door run specialty store in Minneapolis, MN. Learned the inns and outs of inventory management, employee scheduling, as well as business management.
